The 4 Captains drove off. John Brookshaw, Managing Director, Plassey Leisure Park was once again on shotgun duty to salute each drive with a volley of lead shot. The 2009 Vice Captain Richard Bloss ran the "Guest the distance of the Captains' drive". Les hit the ball 144 paces. The winner of the bottle of scotch with a guess of 145 paces was Brian Bailey. Richard says that £56 was collected. The proceeds will all go to the Club Charity which is Tenovus. The Drive in was followed by the St David's Day trophy and this was won by Aled Hughes (40 pts) beating runner up Bob Gibbon on count back.
